These terms apply to every order placed on ruchinilayam.in. Please read them before you buy.
Who we are
This website is operated by Ruchi Nilayam, 78/128-A1, New Keshava Reddy School Back Line, New Krishna Nagar, Kurnool 518002, Andhra Pradesh, India. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Ruchi Nilayam, and "you" means the person placing an order.
By placing an order on this website you accept these terms, along with our Privacy Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Our products
We sell home-style Andhra pickles, karam podis, traditional sweets and snacks, prepared in small batches.
Product photographs on this website are illustrations. Colour, texture and presentation of a hand-made food item vary from batch to batch, and pack weights are approximate within normal tolerances.
Food information and allergens
We hold FSSAI Licence No. 20126191001374, issued for the food business operated from the address given at the end of this page.
Our items are prepared in a kitchen that also handles nuts, dairy, ghee, gluten, sesame, mustard and chilli. We cannot guarantee that any product is free from traces of these ingredients.
If you have a food allergy or a medical dietary restriction, please contact us before ordering so we can tell you what goes into a particular item. Pickles and podis are high in salt, oil and chilli; please use your own judgement.
Store as described on the pack — most pickles keep best in a cool, dry place with a clean, dry spoon used each time, while sweets and snacks are best eaten fresh.
Prices and taxes
All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are shown per pack for the weight you select. GST is not applicable to our sales, so no additional tax is added to the price you see.
Delivery is charged separately and is shown to you at checkout before you pay. Prices can change at any time, but the price displayed when your order is placed is the price that applies to that order.
Placing an order
When you place an order you are making an offer to buy. Your order is accepted once we confirm it with you by phone or WhatsApp.
We may decline or cancel an order if an item is unavailable, if the delivery address cannot be served by our courier partners, if the contact details given are incorrect or unreachable, or if we suspect misuse. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we refund it in full.
Payment
We accept cash on delivery and, where enabled, online payment through our payment gateway partner. Card, UPI and net-banking details are entered on the gateway's own secure page — we never see or store them.
Cash on delivery may be limited by order value or PIN code. If a payment fails or is not received, the order is not confirmed.
Delivery, cancellation and refunds

Cancellations, and what happens if a parcel arrives damaged, incorrect or incomplete, are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Your responsibilities
- Give a complete, correct delivery address with PIN code and a reachable mobile number.
- Make sure someone can receive the parcel at the address during delivery hours.
- Check the parcel when it arrives and tell us about any problem within 48 hours.
- Do not use this website for any unlawful purpose or attempt to interfere with its operation.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for delays caused by courier partners, weather, transport disruption or other events outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Indian consumer law that cannot be excluded.
Intellectual property
The content of this website — text, layout, photographs and the Ruchi Nilayam name and logo — belongs to us and may not be copied or reused without our written permission.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute relating to them is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page, with the date shown below, is the one that applies.
